Proxy Helper is an extension that can manage Socks4, Socks5, HTTP, HTTPS, and QUIC proxy settings in the Google Chrome browser.
Next, I will share with you a step-by-step tutorial about how to use the Proxy Helper Chrome extension with
YiLu Proxy.
1. Download and install the Proxy Helper extension.
2. Enter Proxy Helper Chrome extension options.
Right-click the icon of the Proxy Helper extension then click “Options”.
3. Set up a Proxy.
A. Local port forwardingFor all YiLu Proxy static IPs, right-click an IP and select a port.
YiLu Proxy supports Socks5 and HTTP protocols.
Enter local IP: 127.0.0.1 and the forwarding port, such as 5500, or 5501.
B. Server port forwarding for dynamic IPs and
mobile IPsa. Select proxy IP type: rotating residential IP, rotating datacenter IP, mobile IP, or pro residential IP;
b. Select the format IP:Port:Username: Password;
c.Set the number of generating IPs;
d. Select a location;
e. Refresh;
f. Copy a dynamic IP, port, username, and password;
g. Select HTTP proxy;
h. Paste the server IP and port;
i. Paste the username and password.
4. Use a Proxy.Click the Proxy Helper icon and select a proxy to use.
Then check the IP address, which is the consistent with YiLu proxy IP you selected.
